A standard filter should be changed about every 3 months, while high-efficiency media filters typically last 6–12 months. During heavy-use summer stretches, check it monthly — a clogged filter is the single most common cause of weak cooling and high bills.

Confirm the thermostat is set to cool and below room temperature, then check the breaker panel and the outdoor disconnect. If the breaker has tripped once, reset it — but if it trips again, stop and call us. Repeated trips usually point to an electrical or component fault that needs a technician, and we answer 24/7.
