1. Acceptance of terms

By using this website or scheduling service with Shumate Heating & Air, the residential brand of Shumate Mechanical, LLC ("Shumate," "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the site — though you're always welcome to call us with questions at 678-SHUMATE.

2. Services & scheduling

We provide heating, cooling, indoor air quality, plumbing, electrical, handyman, and related services across metro Atlanta. When you book:

• Estimates for replacement systems are free. A comfort advisor will assess your home and present options before you commit to anything.
• Prices are approved before work begins. Your technician presents the price upfront; no work starts until you say yes.
• Appointment times are scheduled in good faith. You'll receive a call approximately 30 minutes before your technician arrives.
• Emergency dispatch is available 24/7/365; response times vary with demand and conditions.

3. Signature Membership

Signature Membership benefits — including two pre-season precision tune-ups per year, priority scheduling, no overtime rates, 10% off parts and labor on emergency services, and member discounts across our trades — are as published at the time of enrollment and are subject to change. 4. Promotions & pricing

Published promotional prices are accurate as of their posting date and subject to change without notice. Promotional installations depend on equipment availability and site conditions; some homes may require additional work quoted separately — and approved by you — before it begins. Promotions cannot be combined unless expressly stated.

5. Financing

Financing for qualifying purchases is provided through the Wells Fargo Home Projects® credit card. Shumate is not a lender and makes no credit decisions. The Wells Fargo Home Projects credit card is issued with approved credit by Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., an Equal Housing Lender. For newly opened accounts, the APR for Purchases is 28.99% (information accurate as of 03/01/2021, subject to change). See our Financing page for details.

6. Warranties

• Equipment we install carries the manufacturer's warranty applicable to that product.
• A 10-year parts & labor warranty is available with selected equipment — your comfort advisor will identify qualifying systems in your proposal.
• Most manufacturer warranties require regular professional maintenance to remain valid. Keeping up with annual pre-season maintenance — as recommended by the U.S. Department of Energy and EPA — protects your coverage.

7. Website use & intellectual property

The content of this website — text, graphics, logos, and images — belongs to Shumate or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission. "The Official Air Conditioning of Summer" is a registered trademark of Shumate. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or submit false or misleading information through our forms.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shumate's liability arising from services or use of this website is limited to the amount you paid for the service at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing reduces the warranty commitments described in Section 6.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.
